What is Hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is commonly found in areas of the body that need moisture, including the skin. It retains moisture and keeps the skin soft, flexible and supple. As a dermal filler, synthetic hyaluronic acid is used to plump under the skin, which is the main ingredient in all Restylane filler formulas. A tiny amount of Restylane filler can add beautiful volume to lips, cheeks, temples and other areas that need volume.

Restylane Lip Filler

If you have thin lips that could use more fullness, Restylane filler is excellent for lip enhancement. The lip formula uses smaller particles and a thinner gel that is more flexible. Restylane lip filler is made to allow natural movement – this is vital for a natural appearance. Restylane makes a few different formulas that are designed for the lips and can last between six and twelve months, depending on which formula is used.

Restylane Facial Filler

Restylane also has denser hyaluronic acid formulas that are made for adding volume to other areas of the face. If you have nasolabial folds (smile lines), sunken cheeks, sunken temples or other facial aging concerns, Restylane fillers can add volume to create a more youthful appearance. Restylane is excellent for replacing lost collagen to smooth lines and wrinkles and give the face a subtle lift. Results can last anywhere from six months to almost two years, depending on the formula used.
