Cupid Lips® was founded by Dr. Ben Talei, a dual board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose practice is devoted exclusively to the face. He trained at UCLA and UCSD School of Medicine, completed his residency at Columbia and Cornell, and holds a fellowship from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Talei is the originator of the deep plane upper lip lift, the technique behind the Cupid Lift®, and his research on deep plane facial surgery appears in peer reviewed journals including the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Facial Plastic Surgery. He serves as an International Professor of facial plastic surgery and has been featured on E! News, FOX, NBC, and Inside Edition. Every Cupid Lips® provider trains directly under his methods, so patients throughout Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and West Hollywood receive the same standard of care in every visit.
